Today, October 5th, but; 1987. This piece of perfection is released and you have to know that there is a hamster in a microwave. Today is a very good day.
In October of 1988 Capcom released the sequel to 1942. No, really, it's the sequel. Just another year.
The fantastic, intelligent and glamorous Vanna White will always be a wonderful human and Pat whatshisname is lame. But back on the 1st of October in 1987 we all didn't know that and instead played this fun game as it was made for us. (I still typing in answers)
On the 1st of October in 1991 Roger Clemens threw us a pretty great sports game but if you follow these daily releases you know I dig a baseball video game. I'm showing it off a day late because I have few October 1st games but more importantly I'm going to the Cleveland Guardians game today. Hooray for baseball.
It was a good day on October 1st, 1988 because Tennis came in yet another video game form. Real talk; my family plays tennis and even though it was in my life I still find the amount of tennis video games to be very high.
This pseudo driving game that is still a bunch of fun came out in September of 1987 and I gotta say I'm worried about the Kid from yesterday.
In September of 1987 Nintendo decided to sell us a game to capitalize on the fact that every single kid wants to be a spy at some point. Thing about this game is, I have zero memories of it. Never paying it or even seeing it in a friend's basement. Plus with the release of a movie in the 2000s it is being forgotten.
Mega Man 3 from September 28th, 1990 is an amazing title and one that is on every single Nintendo collector's wall in today's world. Even if you don't like this title, you should, you own it for the history.
In September of 1990 a super cool storyline was turned into a mediocre video game that has been remembered for the title way more than the gameplay.
September 26th, 1986 is a banner day in the history of gaming. The great and all mighty Castlevania started to raise electric bills across this nation as kids pushed the red light on for first time and not even close to the last.
